FACILITY RULES + REGULATIONS
ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at Gate B (42932 Walton Road, Walton, ON), vehicles must stop and check in at the building. All persons must sign the necessary waivers before entering the facility.
SPEED LIMIT:
We have a speed limit of 10 km/h in our pit area and parking fields. This rule is for all vehicles, dirt bikes, e-bicycles, e-bikes, and Side by Sides. Our pit area can be very busy with pedestrians and children.
PEE WEE TRACK:
The Pee wee track is for non-racers. Other are not permitted to use this track. Enter and exit the track at the designated entry point. Do not at any point cut the track when riding. You must always wear a helmet when riding the pee wee track.
BICYCLE PUMP TRACK:
The bicycle track is only designed for Stacyc’s, bicycles and E-bicycles. No other machines are permitted to use this track. Enter and exit the track at the designated entry point. Do not at any point cut the track when riding. Follow the full course and do not alter it. You must always wear a helmet when riding the bicycle pump track.
POND:
The natural pond located at the Gatehouse is UNSUPERVISED. All minors must be accompanied by an adult who will take the time to supervise their actions. You are assuming your own risk by swimming in our pond.
Hours of Operation: 8:00 am - 9:00 pm
PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AT THE POND:
Diving, the max depth is 8ft. DO NOT DIVE.
Climbing on the waterfall.
Jumping off of the waterfall.
Being rude to our staff when they have to supervise your children because you are too busy not parenting.
Ignoring the rules.
Asking us if the rules are real.
General ignorance.
BICYCLES, E-BICYCLES, E-BIKES, STAYCYC, SCOOTERS AND GOLF CARTS
BICYCLES:
All bicycle riders under 18 must always wear a helmet when riding a bicycle.
Bicycles can use the bush trails and bicycle tracks when they are open, but not any the main or pee wee tracks.
All speed limits are in effect for E-bikes with a max of 15 km/h in the pits.
Wristbands and payment are NOT required for bicycle riders.

E-BICYCLES:
E-bicycles are defined as bicycles with battery-powered pedal assist. No throttle
All E-bicycle riders under 18 must always wear a helmet when riding an E-bicycle.
E-bicycles can use the bush trails and bicycle tracks when they are open, but not any the main or pee wee tracks.
E-bicycles may be ridden in the pits after hours but must be off the trails and bicycle track by dusk.
All speed limits are in effect for E-bikes with a max of 15 km/h in the pits.
Wristbands and payment are NOT required for E-bicycle riders.

E-BIKES:
E-Bikes are defined as battery-powered bikes that have a throttle. This includes throttle battery-powered bikes with pedals.
All E-bike riders must wear a helmet at all times when riding an E-bike
E-bikes may only be ridden inside designated riding hours.
All speed limits are in effect for E-bikes with a max of 15 km/h in the pits.
Wristbands and payment ARE required for E-bike riders.

STACYC:
All Stacyc riders must always wear a helmet when riding a Stacyc.
Stacyc's may only be ridden inside designated riding hours.
Stacyc’s may use the Stacyc and bicycle tracks.
Stacycs are not allowed to be used as pit vehicles.
Wristbands and payment ARE required for Stacyc riders on the Pee Wee track.

STAND-UP SCOOTERS:
Stand-up scooters are permitted at Walton Raceway.
Drivers under 18 must wear a helmet.
Scooters may only be used in the pits and must be parked at dusk.
All speed limits are in effect for stand-up scooters with a max of 15 km/h in the pits.
Wristbands and payment are NOT required for stand-up scooter riders.

PIT VEHICLES:
Using your motorcycle, E-bike, SXS or ATV as a pit vehicle at Walton Raceway is prohibited, NO EXCEPTIONS.
All bicycles MUST have pedals - if your bicycle does not have pedals, it is a pit bike, and they are prohibited. This includes Surrons.
GOLF CARTS are permitted with the following rules being abided to:
Golf Cart Passes must be purchased upon entrance to the facility when you check in.
You must be at least 18 and have a valid driver's licence to drive a golf cart at Walton Raceway.
At most, your maximum number of passengers can be the number of seats in your golf cart.
Golf carts are not permitted after dark.
Golf Carts may be used by PERMIT ONLY and are limited to a maximum width of 64 inches.
ATVs and Sides by sides are not considered Golf Carts and cannot be used as pit vehicles.
GOLF CART RULES
Racers are responsible for anyone and everyone driving the golf cart registered to their campsite.
Operators must have a valid driver’s licence (18+ years of age).
The golf cart speed limit is 10km/hr.
Golf Cart use hours: 7:00 am - 10:00 pm daily
All passengers must be seated.
There may only be as many passengers as there are seats.
Golf Carts are PROHIBITED in the following areas:
Motocross Track or anywhere inside the track fence
Off-road trails
Travelling past the Gatehouse/Showers at Gate B
Travelling on Walton Road (this is under the jurisdiction of the Ontario Provincial Police)
Golf Carts may not be operated in a reckless, careless or dangerous manner and may not be operated by anyone under the influence of alcohol.
Golf Cart usage is a privilege, not a right, which privilege can be revoked or terminated for any or no reason at the discretion of Walton Raceway. There are no refunds for Golf Cart Passes if your privileges are revoked.
Unauthorized pit vehicles will be confiscated for the duration of the event. A $100 daily impound fee must be paid before the release of the unauthorized vehicle upon completion of the event.
Violation of any of the above rules is grounds for a penalty, including but not limited to confiscation of pit vehicles, disqualification of the racer, and/or ejection from the facility.
CAMPFIRES
Must be in a raised fire pit, minimum 12" from the ground. NO GROUND FIRES.
GARBAGE
Please be respectful of the property, no littering.
Please bag your garbage and place it at the front of your lot near the roadway. Guy and his crew will pick up your garbage for you!
Popular items that are often confused as garbage but should be taken home with you to properly dispose of:
- tires
- oil canisters
- scrap metal
- furniture (couches, recliners, broken camp chairs)
- home appliances
- anything not contained within the garbage bag. Do not lean additional refuse up against the bag.
- Broken tents (sleeping or pop-up)
- Anything your neighbourhood garbage disposal company would NOT pick up on a normal day.
Garbage barrels are not for personal campsite use.
Abuse of Walton Raceway staff, officials, security, or anyone authorized to act on behalf of Walton Raceway to enforce these golf cart rules will be subject to penalty, including, but not limited to confiscation of their golf cart, disqualification of the racer, and/or ejection from the facility. This includes after the completion of both Saturday and Sunday’s racing.
INFIELD ACCESS
The racetrack infield is a restricted area. Only authorized personnel may have access to the infield. Authorized personnel include:
• Officials, medics and track crew
• Credentialed Media (editorial and industry commercial)
Authorized personnel do not include:
• Rider coaches or training facility staff (those without credentials)
• Rider personal or contracted photographers/videographers
• Sponsors and industry personnel
POWER WASHERS
Power washing at campsites is permitted only if the washing does not interfere with your neighbours or create a mess. Do not wash your bikes on the roadway, this creates a mess for vehicles to drive over.
FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
All motor homes/camping vehicles and pit rigs are required to have fully functioning fire extinguishers available in an emergency.
USED OIL
DO NOT dump oils, fuels, coolants or other waste materials on the ground. They must be disposed of properly off-site. Walton Raceway is not licensed to receive hazardous waste.
NO WOODS RIDING
The off-road trails are off-limits to motorized vehicles, including golf carts. These trails are open to bicycles and foot traffic only. Anyone caught violating this rule will be subject to penalty, including, but not limited to, a monetary fine, disqualification of the racer, and/or ejection from the facility. This includes after the completion of both Saturday and Sunday’s racing.
NO DRIVING IN UNDESIGNATED AREAS, ESPECIALLY IN THE FARMER’S FIELDS TO THE NORTH OF THE START LINE AND EAST OF AMATEUR CAMPING. THIS WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EJECTION FROM THE FACILITY WITHOUT FURTHER DISCUSSION. THIS WILL ALSO RESULT IN THE IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION OF THE RACER AND INCLUDES AFTER THE COMPLETION OF BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY’S RACING.
EDGE OF WALTON CHALLENGE COURSE
The climbing tower is always off-limits (excluding the Edge of Walton Kids Camp). Any persons found to be vandalizing and/or damaging the course will be fined $500.00 CAD plus the cost to repair the damages and evicted from the property immediately and permanently.
PET POLICY
All animals must be on a leash at any given time. You must pick up after your pet and dispose of their waste in a garbage barrel. Remember, this is a long, hot week, and many animals are not suited to these conditions.
No pets near the racetrack. Pets that bark or bite or otherwise are cause for concern will be required to leave the event with their humans. Pets that bark throughout the night while their owners sleep will be required to leave the event with their humans. Walton Raceway has sole discretion on whether your pet can stay. Pets must stay out of the fenced swimming pond.
NO FIREWORKS, FIREARMS OR PAINTBALL GUNS
PROPERTY LIMITS
Our property is limited to the north side of Walton Road only. We do not own the quarry/gravel pit south of Walton Road. If you enter that property, you knowingly leave Walton Raceway and cross into private property with NO TRESPASSING signs. The OPP has been patrolling the gravel pit and will issue trespassing charges to anyone they find in breach of the private property fence line.
Please remember that you and your family are guests of Walton Raceway, the Keast family, MRC, the Triple Crown Series, Huron East and Huron County. You are representing our industry and our great sport of motocross. Your behaviour will reflect on how the public views our sport. Inappropriate behaviour reported by any local business personnel, Walton staff or law enforcement officer may result in disqualification. You have worked too hard to take on that chance.
